Fellow readers, please excuse the brevity of our list—we’re missing half an office today. Nonetheless:
1.) I’m reading PD James’s The Murder Room, an Adam Dalgliesh mystery that was published in 2004. Part of my classic crime catch-up reading! The mystery is set mainly in/around a London museum dedicated to the inter-war years, including a “Murder Room” exhibition that chronicles high-profile murder cases of the 1920s and 1930s.
-Juliet Grames, Senior Editor
2.) I finally have my hands on Banner of the Damned by Sherwood Smith! If you’re a fellow fantasy lover, especially YA fantasy, I will personally deliver one of Smith’s books to you. A great place to start? Crown Duel.
-Katie Hoffman, Editorial Assistant
3.) I’m loving American Wife. Curtis Sittenfeld delivers the same pitch-perfect insights to her main character as she does in Prep. This book may be even better.
-Bronwen Hruska, Publisher
4.) Still reading Easy Riders, Raging Bulls: How the Sex-Drugs-and-Rock ‘N’ Roll Generation Saved Hollywood! Juicy stuff, people.
-Michelle Rafferty, Publicist
